Hatch Creative Studio : Winter Inspiration

I was so excited when Barb Salzman from Hatch Creative called me to document her winter soiree. Barb threw a party at their new event space and went absolutely all out with gorgeous decor elements. The event showcased the loft as an event space for holiday parties and corporate events. And for anyone who knows Barb, she can throw a party. AVEnts Catering by Ally Lipton provided the yummy treats. Mini hot chocolates in the perfect little mug from (fishs eddy www.fishseddy.com) with berry crumble bites were the hit of the night along with the mini chicken pot pies and butternut squash soup shooters. And a snowman booth with hats, mustaches and carrots for guest to play around (booth by www.thestudiobooth.com).
Details included: a carnation snowman, and eclectic collection of Medicine bottles hanging from birch behind the bar filled with snow from ski mountains around the country...Stowe 1974, Aspen 2001, Snowbird 1984 etc. too cute. And sweater favor wraps were one of my faves. Check out our post on Style Me Pretty too ! (thanks Abby:)

Amy set up a Morcoccan Table at our last Sunday Supper...! We'll be posting more on the Sunday Suppers Blog later this week and next. It was almost too pretty to eat but after a long day of staring at it our guests were thrilled to jump in !

Last week I participated in The Wedding Library's Annual Wedding Party - It was a fantastic show at The New York Palace Hotel. Marlene & Todd had a beautiful wedding at the Brooklyn Historical Society with such unique details - a custom logo, sesame letterpress coasters, and todd even built their "house" as a ceremony backdrop. Brides Magazine featured this as one of their favorite ceremony ideas, and Erica at thoughtful day just posted a few photos as well...thanks erica !

Had a fabulous shoot with the Gruenberg Family in the Hamptons, I've had the honor of being friends with yehuda for 12 years now, going out to photograph his family was just amazing! they are some of the nicest people you'll ever encounter - and the kids are...just so sweet, so kool & krazy beautiful :) thanks guys !

Kettering Wedding #2 ! Ann & Jason

The lovely wedding of Ann & Jason, designed by the talented and amazing Erik Kegler.
Jason is a chef and designed his own menu for the dinner, and Erik used these culinary touches in the decor details, like using fresh herbs on the table settings. I love these shots of ann getting ready with the whole family helping, it often takes a village...
It was a beautiful intimate ceremony & an elegant dinner for the closest family and friends. Thanks for bringing me to Dayton again- It's always a blast!! Amy...you're next :)

Melissa & Chuck: The One and Only Ocean Club in the Bahamas

Well, I have fallen very behind on my blogging (once again!)
Here's a wedding I photographed in the Bahamas, it was absolutely breathtaking. For those who haven't been, the One and Only is an amazing resort, and the ceremony site that Melissa & Chuck chose is just jaw dropping. The ceremony was followed by cocktails and what else but a Bahamian Dance Band to get the party started. Check it out.
Melissa & Chuck, thanks for having me out to such an amazing place...turned out to be an xtra special trip for me ;)

Kettering Wedding: Paige & Bobby

An amazing midsummer night's dream wedding recently brought me to Dayton, Ohio for a weekend shoot. We did lots of photos, engagement, golf, dinner, a luncheon & of course a spectacular wedding. Wedding: Sheila and Aaron

We all had a shoot... 7.07.07 but this was an especially fun one for me, Sheila and Aaron had a gorgeous Indian Wedding in Tarrytown, NY. I was absolutely astonished with this wedding, Sheila and Aaron were calm and sweet, and the ceremony was so warm and inclusive! I even took my shoes off during the ceremony , giggle :)

Wedding: Shimrit & Roni

So I have a bunch of weddings to catch up on but I did want to share this amazing one...
a NYC fairytale wedding. Shimrit and Roni got ready at the Soho House, yes together! it was super cute actually, the couple hung out in a lavish suite all day for hair makeup & Perrier- we took pictures on the cobblestone streets & the wedding was at the Tribeca Rooftop.
